The Deventer Vocal Ensemble will once again perform the traditional “Festival of Lessons and Carols” this Christmas.
In this free and atmospheric concert, the Deventer Vocal Ensemble will sing modern and traditional English Christmas carols. The audience is also invited to sing a few songs with the choir. Everyone is welcome: beginners and experienced singers, believers and non-believers, young and old. The songs will be interspersed with short English recitals, and a free program booklet with the lyrics will be available at the entrance.
The concert will take place at the Bergkerk in Deventer on December 20th at 8:00 PM. Admission is free, but afterward, we ask for a voluntary contribution. Church doors open at 7:30 PM; seats cannot be reserved.
